Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Customer service and sales experience preferred but not mandatory as long as you are a people person – they will coach you to use tact and diplomacy to maintain harmonious relationships with customers in person and over the phone.
- Greet customers in a friendly manner; determine and understand customer needs, fulfill the needs and exceed their expectations.
- Be knowledgeable of products and services offered and properly promote them to customers.
- Frequently multi-task while maintaining extreme attention to detail and high quality control
- Operate copier, fax machines, printers including wide format, cutters, laminators, binding equipment and all other office machines in a safe, efficient and productive manner.
- Help customers understand store capabilities and design print products.
- Produce/design, proof, and update materials for print projects using Adobe and Microsoft Suites.
- Help customers operate office machines located in the retail area.
- Handle in and outgoing mail, sort and place mail in mailboxes accurately.
- Receive and process packages for shipping, including lifting and weighing packages.
- Pack contents for shipping using established procedures and products.
- Process and document damaged shipments, late and lost package claims.
- Assist in merchandising the store, including: stocking shelves with product, ensuring clean and orderly appearance of products, informing appropriate personnel of inventory levels for re-ordering supplies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- May open and/or close the store and perform end-of-day accounting, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
